Sensory Milling Head at voestalpine Böhler Aerospace

Conceptualizing and tinkering in the lab is one thing; putting the pedal to the metal in a production environment is something else. Recently, we had the excellent opportunity to test one of our new sensory milling heads at voestalpine BÖHLER Aerospace in Kapfenberg and exchanged some first-hand experience in high-performance machining with sensory tools.

The successful test run is another high note in this year's EIT-Manufacturing project InToFlex. Together with the outstanding team from the IFT TU Wien, Böhler's local experts and MyTooliT, we have demonstrated the potential of sensory tools in the field and gained many highly valued insights.
